I've still gotta do my go pro video for mine, weather hasn't been the best for it yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

How does it do in the dead of night!?

Freaking amazing. On my farm land that is wide open I was disappointed just testing the light out. When I got on the back road and trails I was excited. From ditch to ditch and straight out in front was the purest white light ever. Duallys are pointless now. Kinda wishing I hadn't ordered a 50". It's way over kill if I put that on.

Good idea about gopro. I should be able to get better quality from it vs my phone and clean it up in post production.

Yay!

Blizzard tonight.

I'll get that video tonight and upload it tomorrow.

I want to do one in stupid heavy snow and one right before the butt crack of dawn.

Pure blackness and pure whiteout - amber vs white.

...obviously amber for the snow and white for the darkness. BUT because I can, I'll turn on the white one just to show how stupid it is in the snow.

I really like the look of the way your light is mounted. Does it interfere with the opening of the hood?

Also, did you put the mounting of the RI Lights in your fogs in any of the threads? I'm trying to decide if I want to do this with a set of floods.

Its not a "blizzard" as defined by the NWS, BUT when you mix -5°F, 4" of snow, and 40mph winds in the middle of nowhere - its close enough.

Its north-central Iowa, north of Ames, like 20-30 miles in every direction and all you see are fields as far as the eye can see.

No light pollution, no timber areas, nothing to slow/knock down the wind. Its perfect for this kind of video, IF I'm not alone on the roads then there's some OWIs to be handed out. I've only ever seen another vehicle along that stretch, in this type of weather, at 5am once, and that was a plow.

Its just not a good place to travel in the winter. Very few people live on it, so its not plowed until 1-2 days after everything else. You'll see.

That's a cool mod. I wonder if he needed to wire in a relay when he wired the lights to the factory fog wires?
