Do you troll every thread or just the Rigid ones? Why don't you stay in your hopes and dreams thread and talk about all the stuff you are going to buy one day.

I got my idea from fellow forum member moodyblue. When buying my bar I bought the optional "U" cradle for the 20" bar. You are going to also need to trim the plastic bumper pads that are on either side of the opening as these plastic pieces wrap around into the bumper hole. But the U cradle just bolts up through existing holes in the bumper. If you get down and look straight in the hole you will see a couple holes in the upper part of the metal that's how you mount it. Il try to get pics but that hole is so small now

And this is coming from someone who bought a limited. one of the highest trim models. Have you used one? they are definitely not over priced once you own one and see the light output. But I guess to each their own. If you don't like rigid don't come in here crapping on everyone else's parade....

Now the quality of how the lights are designed and put together is another story so I agree with you there. The optics are the main reason why rigid is more expensive and the fact that they are soldered by pros not machines. The price of labour dictates them charging this much. Same goes for a lot of name brands.
I have a few of the "jap crap" lights as well. They are by NO means poor quality in my opinion. I have two dualies and they are awesome. Just be careful before you make an ignorant comment based on unreliable sources and facts.
This.

X2, some pretty big keyboards the peckers are pecking on.

I know how both are made, I prefer to pay a little more for a quiality product. I have researched many different LED bars and so far none touch the quality you get from Rigid. Sorry if you don't like my term for some of the other brands but if I am going to spend the money I am going to do it once, mount it, use it, and not worry about issues with it in the future. If I am able to put some money into the pockets of a US based business giving jobs to US citizens over some knock off product shipped from over-seas, I will.

Mods, please clean up the some of the posts and keep this thread open. Too much good information in here to lose because a couple digital badasses need to flex.

Keep buying from the people reselling these Chinese bars. Good luck on that 2 year warranty you got from the guy that disappeared.
