Rattling Noise coming from drivers side? Skipping
Hello all,
Haven't posted for a few months since buying my 2012 F150 with the 5.0L, loving the truck but have noticed a few things since buying it. I just bought the truck back in march with roughly 67,000 miles on it just had an oil change and the tires rotated. Drove it all the way from Upstate New York to Rapid City South Dakota with no issues. I'm noticing a slight rattle noise under load, maybe something to do with the timing chain? Seems to be coming from the drivers side. Maybe something to do with the camshaft? I have no clue how to diagnose it.
I've also noticed sometimes after start up, I pull out onto the road and the truck starts bucking at low speed, seems to do it every once in a while.
Also notice a clunk, but I believe that to be a slip yoke issue.
Any input on the rattling noise/bucking issues? TIA

Thanks Wanted33, I'm not having an major issues and I could just be picky, but I'd really like to know where the noise is coming from as I have an extended warranty and could get the work done at minimal cost.

Five-0 Ret.
Oh I get it, I'm the king of **** when it comes to my vehicles. Just a thought, could it be the gas causing a bit of pinging? I will say my 5.0 doesn't do this, so you may want to take a tech for a ride just in case.
