Default Finally Got My New Exhaust :)

Finally got my exhaust installed today. Ended up going with a Magnaflow single in dual out, part # 12198 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-12198) and the shop does all custom pipe. Had them kick them out at a 45 degree for me. That's my favorite look. This muffler sounds awesome! Originally wanted to go with a Flowmaster Super 44 but the Magnaflow will last way longer being stainless steel. Cab noise is very low. It's loud but at cruising speed it calms right down. Perfect for me. Hope you all like it.

Looks nice. I am wanting to do something with mine too. Like you, don't want it to sound too loud cruising but want to hear the rumble of my v8 around town.

Enjoy!

Glad to hear it! We take pride in our mufflers producing great tone while creating a livable decibel level for everyday use and as much as any other vehicle, the F-150 seems to take these universal mufflers really well.

Does your exhaust systems make much different or better tone on the Ecoboost engine? Sorry to
Chime in on the thread.

Glad to have anyone and everyone chime into exhaust threads. We like talking about it.

To answer your question, it will make a difference and we think the tone is better. I don't have a clip to share yet, but it'll deepen the sound. It won't make it sound like an engine that it isn't, but it will make the sound fuller and louder under load.

This clip from Stage 3 Motorsports is pretty good, actually:

Thank you! How much would that kit run in price, to Canada, out of curiosity?
