finally broke down and tinted the windows today
cruising around town, I saw a sign at the local tint shop running a deal so I stopped in and had them throw some 3M on the side front windows
they said 15% is what they've been putting on them to match the rears, and it looks like a pretty close match to me!
gotta wait a few days with the windows up and go back for a check-up. in the mean time those little bubbles at the bottom better go away like they said they will

yeah I wanted to get it done before summer hit us here in Florida with all it's force... it'll be reaching back into the 90's again this week...
I didn't bother to have the little strip put at the top of the windshield either; those things bother me. had it done on my last truck and it drove me nuts for some reason

They will if they applied the film correctly. The water solution they used to adhere the film will dry out and the film will stick to the window causing the bubble to disappear...

Not much at all. Driving down the road it isnt much different at night, backing up in the dark can be tricky depending on your surroundings. In a well lit area its fine but out in the woods or mountains at night you may need to put your windows down to see better...unless you are like me and have the rear camera
