Default Few Problems, please advise

So I bought a used 2012 F150 SCREW with Ecoboost about 3 months ago and I love it but I have a few issues that I was hoping you guys could offer some advice on. First of all, the truck seems to shudder/shake a lot. I have read the other posts about the ecoboost shudder but I don't think that's the same thing. It seems as if the truck shakes no matter the speed or whether I'm accelerating or not. It feels as if the wheels are unbalanced, but I had them balanced and it is still there. Also (and this may be related), when I hit a bump, the rear end does a wicked dance and feels very unstable. It literally feels like the rear end picks up and scoots over a few inches if I hit a big enough bump. I really don't like the way it feels and I don't think a truck this new should have these symptoms. I've been wondering if perhaps it's something to do with the rear shocks/rear sway bar.

Lastly, and only once in a while, I experience a light white smoke coming from the exhaust at initial start up. It tends to go away after driving for a minute or two and generally happens moreso when the truck has been sitting for a while. I got out and stuck my hand in the exhaust flow one time and it felt wet, almost like a condensation/steam which I think would be normal but it seems to not matter what the temperature is outside. Is this something to be concerned about?

Like I said before, I love this truck, but I'm kind of tempted to sell it and go buy the new Silverado if these are "common" problems that aren't easily fixed. I can't just live with these issues.

Thanks for any help,

Mike

I'm just thinking here...

Have you changed your plugs? Might want too and gap them at .030 Also, check to see when the last update was done for the truck. Might be needing some re-calibration.

Check all the shocks. Make sure everything is tight and nothing is loose under the truck.

PCM/ECM update to help with the ecoboost shudder.

If after you do the plugs it still persist look into possible driveline out of balance.
As for the white smoke on start up, totally normal, that's exactly what it is, condisation. If it happens throughout the day then that's possibly another issue, coolant leak, if exhaust smells sweet.
But from what you said the white smoke/steam is normal, I get it even if it's 80 deg F out.

So I thought the "ecoboost shudder" only occurred under acceleration. Does it occur while just cruising also?

Not that I know of, this shutter you are referring to is it a loss of power with shaking or just shaking? If it's just shaking it could be your drive line or trans mount. More than likely driveline

Sorry, I read your op wrong.

If it's shaking all the time I would guess driveline, u joint or some other drive train component.

No there is not a loss of power.

Is this something that's commonly seen in these trucks?

Default Few Problems, please advise

How many miles are on it? could need struts and shocks for starters. What tires are you running? Older Pirelli's are a bitch to balance, but it could be a put of balance driveshaft.
Can't advise you on ecoboost matters unfortunately.
