Default A few pics of my rock rails (steps)

Built these over the past couple of weeks in my spare time (not much). Finished them up yesterday. I forgot to take a picture of the underside, but they mount to the frame in three locations. They are made from 1 5/8" DOM tubing with .188" wall.

Much more sturdy than the OEM steps. I was actually very disappointed in the factory steps when I took them off because they looked extremely cheap. Not to mention on the underside of the step where the mounting brackets bolt to them, there were 4 holes for sheet metal screws on each bracket, and Ford only utilized two of them. Thus, only 4 small sheet metal screws were holding on each step when there were holes for 8.

I like them. Did you do anything to help with traction on the bar? My stock steps are terrible when wet.

Thank you. I plan to start building a bumper next...not sure whether to start with front or rear though. I guess rear...I was thinking it would look nice with one similar to what I had built for my Titan.

I painted them with spray on bedliner, so its better than just paint as far as traction.

Any thoughts/opinions on the rear bumper? Not in the pic, but I ran my exhaust out the bumper holes on the Titan.

Those look really good, better than stock and appear to be much more sturdy than stock. Well done!
