I ordered this next piece from fellow forum member, TwoTall, and I've got to say that I like it so far. I originally had plans to paint the grille, either black, or the grayish gunmetal color of the factory Lariat grille as I painted the washers this color as well. They color matched really well and I may end up going this route. For now, I'm going to roll with it this way, but I want to break up the chrome a bit, so I'll paint it another weekend. :-) I did this mod while BBQ'ing some ribeye's! So, very user friendly install. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

Thanks bud! I think it flows pretty well with the truck. But I do like the black chrome that dupli-color makes, so that may the final route. :-) will post pics of that when I do.

I had just put a billet grille on recently and although I like some chrome, it was a bit much chrome, for me. I removed the grille inserts and painted them with Dupli-Color Storm Grey Metal, and adhesion promotor and clear(not in that order). It's much less subdued now and not screaming at you or blinding others with all the chrome. I'm happy with the final result! :-)

Matches the factory grille color pretty well, but quite a bit shinier.

So I finally got around to finishing up my LED conversion for most all of my exterior, and all of my interior bulbs. I also was able to retrofit my LED blinkers, and puddle lights as well!! dde01 I am happy with the outcome and my truck seems like a whole new truck when I walk up to it now at night. And Nick Patton was the man who hooked me up with all the LED's. Only one I wasn't able to take a pic of was the brake light as I didn't feel like asking someone to step on the pedal for me as I take the pic, but that is nice and bright as well!

Maybe better than the other, but sorry they are crappy pics, they're just from iPhone.
