Like saying goes "opinions are like arseholes - everybody has one"......but some should keep theirs to themselves when they have nothing good to say and have to insult others

I bought Weathertech mudflaps instead.

Sounds like your dealer was uninformed as there is no drilling required for the Bushwacker flares like I installed.

I think both of those sets of flares really make the trucks look good and stand out from the rest. Just my 2 cents. Got me wanting some now. Damn.

I really like these flares. But to pull it off you need the right offset wheel. Does anyone know the offset of this setup?

Those wheels were on my 2009 and were a 20x9 with an offset of +12

Here is a picture of my 2013 with 20x9 with +1 offset on them.

It all depends upon which tire/wheel combo you are going with as well. Here is mine. I went with the pocket flares because they give me the most protection.

Even then I don't have full coverage. Anything smaller and I could just without any flares. Depends on the look you want and coverage you desire.

I agree that in the end it comes down to the look you want on whether to use them or what style to go with.

Just for the record the Bushwacker Extend-a-Flares for the F150 are listed as providing 1.75" of tire coverage for both the front and rear. The Pocket style offer 1.50" of coverage for the front and back. The Max Coverage Pocket Flares offer 2.38" in tire coverage in the front and 2.00" of coverage in the rear.

Bushwacker offers 2 different widths/coverages for the river pocket flares. Right there on their website.

But a ton of brands and knockoffs are out there at significantly less.

You also run the high risk of the flares rubbing into your paint. And I mean high risk. Mine has scratches with less than a year. Google and you'll find lots of other last with the same issue. So ignore the people scared of rust because the paint scratching is the real issue.
