Default Feeling Sluggish

Ok, i have a 2010 FX4 with 67,000 . When i'm at a stop and then get on it to get on the freeway at WOT, it feels like the transmission is chugging along or the engine is missing. I was thinking fuel filter, and after some research i find we dont have one. anyone else have the same issue?

Bad coil pack? Running on 7 cylinders, did the check engine light come on?

No codes. Maybe i'll get it checked out this weekend. As far as the fuel filter, i'm going to crawl under it today and see if there is one or not.

Its in the tank with the sending unit if I remember what I read a year ago correctly. Not a maintenance part. Seems like I read that 09 was the last year to have one that was meant to be changed.

I believe your correct. It's in the tank.

2008 is the last year for an external fuel filter.

2009+ do not have a serviceable fuel filter. As you note it's integrated with the fuel pump in the tank.

Lightbulb

kravenf150s ...
Clean the MAF sensor and see if there's a difference.
And while you're at it ... How's the air filter look?

Mine was sort of like this... Not exactly tho? Maybe it's similar to your problem... I noticed my truck being "Putsy"? i guess you could say... This was about a month ago... I replaced plugs, did an oil change, etc... All I did was Top off my tank with 93 octane. And it seemed to have fixed my issue.. I believe all my problem was just bad gas. You could try getting some fuel cleaner as well... Wouldn't hurt and it's only like $15 or so.
