Its up.

Edit: WOW! The Chevy gets to tow 1500 less pounds. Shocker!!

Edit Edit: If you buy a chevy, better get a smaller boat!!!!

Ahahaha. Of course, the Ford dominated all the way around, I don't think there was ever much doubt. I don't get how Chevy can offer a Z-71 package, with 3.08 gears?! The Chevy sounded great, but sure was working hard to keep up. I definitely look forward to them getting a hold of the other trucks to do a true comparison.

Ha poor Chevy never stood a chance. They never did mention which of all three won but its clear the Ecoboost dominated despite the driver messing up a few times.

favorite quote " oh boy we are floored and falling to 50 mph, she's not happy at all".

Sounds like the host don't even know about Fords 6.2L They kept saying they want GM's 6.2 and the 5.0 from Ford.

The 14' isn't in the same class as the Ecoboost, its barely competition for the 5.0l! Co-workers was a bit too proud of his new 14' screw 5.3l and his ego got deflated by my 5.0l scab...... Twice.... And the sad part is his screw weighs a few pounds less than my scab (his first arguement on why he lost)

^ nice job rancherlee, good to let him know their "all new" barely keeps up with 3-4 y.o. models from Ford. Game over in 2015.

Listening to the Chevy go up and down and up and down the gears gave me horrible flashbacks to the 2007 5.3 liter with the 4 speed transmission I used to have to tow with. It also had the 3.08 gears. It seems as if the 6 speed didn't help. And the direct injection. And the variable cam timing. And they didn't even bother with mentioning the fuel mileage at the conclusion of the run.....

I can hear Chevy corporate now. "Uh, they want to test what? Send them this one so we can blame it on the gears......."

I had a 2005 with 3.55 gears, IIRC. It sucked at towing also and I never even put anything over 4000 lbs behind it.

I test drove a 2014 GMC with that same setup before I bought my F150 Limited. Sitting idling the truck is unbelievably quiet and you cant hear the motor when you blip the accelerator.... the truck drives like a Lexus with no load on it........HOWEVER!!!...The truck has absolutely no freaking power....no wonder it can achieve 23MPG or better because it poorly geared for a pickup truck.....I would be embarrassed if I had a $45K truck that can only tow 6600 pounds...Wow!
