Default Factory tint night time

I just got a new 13 screw 4x4 two weeks ago. I didn't really think about it when I bought it, but the back cab and rear windows are tinted from the factory. The other night was the first time I drove it at night and I could hardly see to back up and turn around in the driveway. So I'm wondering is there a way to make your reverse lights brighter or any other suggestions?

I saw some flood light kits they make that install into your tow hitch area.

My suggestion is to forget looking over your shoulder. Use the side view mirrors instead.

I also find it helpful to look around the area when I am walking to the truck when I know I'll be backing out. It makes it much easier to relate what I see in the mirror when I am backing up.

I just use the side view mirrors and the camera. I try to be aware of my surroundings as well.

I generally use my mirrors only, but didn't seem to be enough light to do that even the other night. Perhaps my night vision just isn't what it used to be. Lol I need to go drive again at night in it, maybe I'm just not used to it since it's new. I did notice I have the auto dimming mirror and that doesn't help much for this situation.

go to auto parts store. buy some $20 fog or driving lights and install under bumper. It will give you all the light you need.

I have all my windows tinted. For $20 a pair of LED backups to replace your existing ones will do it.

I use the mirrors and camera, but I back in to my drive. Much easier that way as I can see cross traffic much easier when pulling out in the morning.

I've had these in my last two trucks. They work pretty darn well.
