Default Factory remote start failure, is there a reset?

2014 Lariat screw, 2 years the remote start worked fine. Now it responds with single horn and does not start. Turned it off in menu, tried it, turned it back on, same single horn response. Hood switch okay, all doors closed. Anyone have factory info or insight? Thanks

Check the gear selector switch on the shifter.

I shut mine off in gear the other day, then put it in park.
The next morning, one honk and no start.

There are other threads on battery drain and cluster lights staying on that were selector switch issues.

N3PU, you are right! It is the selector switch in the shifter, cluster lights on, P for park not lighting up when in park.
