Default F150lift.com Coilovers

Has anyone used these coilovers in there new f150? I don't do a lot of off roading, or anything super hardcore, so I thought that maybe these would be a good alternative to fox's or icon. When I do it, I will go with a aftermarket UCA. I want the coilovers so that I can tune the ride once I have heavier tires on the truck. I will be going with dreaver style springs in the back. Thanks for all the help, this is a great site so far.

I do believe they just came out with their coilovers.
They use the Bilstein 5100's and eibach springs. Both have nothing but good reviews. Right now I'm in the same boat as you and I'm leaning towards just going with the Bilstein's and the stock springs. It comes down to money for me.
If your set in Coilover's tho I don't think you'll go wrong with anything they offer.
Good luck with the truck man. And let's see some pics once whatever you pick is on the truck.

For the price I think I would go with the Icons over their pieced together stuff.

Just to be clear, We sell Icon and their stuff is great, but it is not a maintenance free coilover and is geared towards desert racing. Our Coilovers are not "pieced" together. They were researched and engineered, manufactured in the USA, and then tested for more than 18,000 miles. No leaks, no problems, Lifetime Warranty. Hope this clears up any misunderstanding about our products. Thanks to all for the interest in our products.

If you don't do a lot of offroading then i don't see why you would go with coilovers and uca's in the first place. A spacer leveling kit will work just fine. And I have to agree that for the price, I would just spend a tiny bit more and get the icons.

I think the comparison being made is not Apples to Apples. Sure for those that want a Spacer, we sell a Made in the USA spacer, that carries a Lifetime Warranty. Our Coilover was designed for "enhanced off road capability" and to be maintenance free, which it is. It also provides 0-3" of lift and adjustability on or off the truck. It was not designed to compete in the desert racing market. The Icon, while it is a fine product, which we sell, is in the $300 dollar mark more....not so tiny.

I'm going with coilovers so that I have the ability to adjust preload, and on my last truck,(not an f150) I cheaped out on suspension set up, and it rode horrible. I know I don't need the latest and greatest in coilovers, but I want to be able to adjust it and have a good ride.

You can get the Fox 2.0 coilovers for $360 a piece so that's another option. Cheaper than the Bilstein coilovers.

FWIW, I wish this was around when I did my bilsteins. I would have liked the upgraded collar and eibach springs!

I agree, icons, king, and fox are all a big jump in performance and money for higher end offroading but if you want a nice level and will see 90% street with some occasional light offroading then you can't go wrong with the bilsteins.

If you shop around icons can be had for 1100. And the fox's are aluminum bodied and have better valving for performance so they will out perform the bilsteins easily. I think they come with eibachs too. Don't get me wrong, you have a great product, but totally missed the mark when it came to affordability. It put you into a whole new ball game running with the big three(fox, king, icon). If there was any way to cut back costs and put it nearer the price of the fox's or something like that I think it would sell a lot easier.
