I love Vanilla Ice! I am listening to him now!

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Lol I've been guilty of this I admit. I do it to get them to spool up them turbos. I have a 5.4 and I know it is not fast but I love the sound the turbo make. The exhaust not so much. Lol now my 9 year old son let's me know when a eco is beside me. Guess he likes it too.

I drive an XTR which is basically a fully loaded XLT with chrome package. In canada, ford labels the XTR as a premium model alongside the lariat and king ranch. There's nothing premium about it. It is a very nice truck and definitley better than anything you can get at this price point but it is far from premium. A good example of ford suckering you in.

I totally agree with the original poster here. I have noticed for a while that people use the EB name too often and associate it with other problems.
Example: There is a current thread now named "Ecoboost Down". To someone that just scans past the title and doesn't read the thread it sounds like the EB engine crapped out when in fact the article is about a steering problem the guy is having.

Gotta admit, it's not very tuff sounding. I would have preferd nothing at all or at least have it say TWIN TURBO.
Look at the brite side as long as some "Greenie" thinks its a under powered 'ECO MOBILE" you will be less apt to get keyed in the parking lot Bubbabud

I'm still caught up on the ecoboost lawnmower... a twin turbo lawnmover would save time and give the kid down the street in his honda a run for his money.
