Default F150 VIN & Window Sticker in Excel

Okay there are a lot of places you can look up your window sticker on the Web and get a PDF of your window sticker.

I had a lot of friends asking me for theirs, and I would send them to a link on the web. Since I was doing it so much I made an Excel file that you can do it automatically, as well as get a quick rundown on the VIN#.

Now you have to have Microsoft Excel with Macros enabled for this to work, and I haven't tested it 100% but it seems to be working pretty well.

I already have a lot of sample VIN's in there so you can just click on them and see how it works. If you would like to maintain your own list of VIN's just click on the 2012 Motor Trend Icon, and all the data will clear and you can start new.

Didn't know if anyone would even want this or not, but I though it might be cool to some.

If you like it your welcome, if you don't like it, just ignore it.

Thanks to everyone for making this a great forum!

I'd like a copy of my window sticker, dealer took it off and lost it when I got my truck.

I attached it as a zip file at the bottom of the post.

You need Excel to open it, and Macros must be enabled.

Wow, I wouldn't had bought my truck without a window sticker. How do you know that your getting the correct configuration that you're needing and paying for. Gear ratios, locker, and other features.

I surely would never trust a salesman. First off most aren't all that honest, second of all, most aren't all that intelligent, and if they're the minority and neither of those two, 3rd, they most likely don't know how the features work in the truck to know if it has them or not.

My salesman is a friend of a friend and I still wouldn't buy without a sticker because he knows a lot of things and is honest, but he doesn't know how every feature works on every vehicle they sell, to know if it's there or not.

No, it's an attachment. You may have to be on your PC to download it.

FWIW, the macro to create the hyperlink doesn't seem to work correctly on the OS X version of Excel. When I type in my VIN, it correctly decodes it to get the basic info on my truck, but won't create a hyperlink.

I haven't tried it on a Windows version...

It was on there when I took it for a test drive, it was during the "delivery prep" that they lost it. The day I bought it I drove it to California, and didn't notice it until I got back.
