Default F150 with hero motor 448AA

Anyone know what the spec of that truck was? It appears to me to be an XLT screw minibed with max tow, the chrome package & the off road package.

Videos here of the torture test.

Yeah I think that's what it was too. It has to have the max tow package to have that tow rating. I would've thought they would've had the max payload package on it as well, but it definately doesn't have that and I don't think it needed it for what they were doing for each of the tests anyway thinking back on it.

Lol these trucks will take 2nd a little past 70 depending on the rear end. Ive always wandered what the theoretical top speed would be at the top of 4th gear. It would probably be even faster with lighter road tires/rims and if it was lowered... Alot haha.

They didn't have max payload back then for this body style.

The 2011 F150 Trailer Towing Selector Guide lists the heavy duty payload package as an option...

Does it really? I didn't think the 7-lug package came until 2012.

7 lugs have been available since early 2000's if I'm not mistaken. Not to common though.
