Default F150 engine swap?

Hi I have a 2009 f150 xl with the 4.6l 2v it's a gutless turd so I was looking in to a 6.2l out of a raptor would this be a pretty easy swap?

It can be done, the easiest way to do it would be to find a wrecked truck and swap everything over. You'd want to stick with a Raptor from 2010 since there was a pretty big wiring change in 2011 with the introduction of the BCM, I'm not sure how the rest of the truck would like the newer PCM.

Hey there buddy. Listen, every time I think of this whole engine swap thing it gives me the heebie jeebies boys. I mean jesus, just changing the engine mount locations is gunna give you trouble and cost money and you haven't even got the engine in the truck yet. There's just so many damn things you're gunna have to do....unless you are doing the swap because you love working with this stuff and you gots yourself a whole helluva lot a more money than I do....and time for that matter, lots and lots of time....my God.
But hey, don't listen to me, do a search, get your google on, and see what other's have to say...just do me a favour and let me know who said it was easy, 'cause I'm gunna want to read that bit of literature.

You see, you're being reasonable and asking a logical question. Now try that in a room full of engineers and see where it gets you. Don't take nothing for granted, and from what I read, no the mounts aren't the same.

ohh I don't have that suggestion. I don't think you can. I do think your best option is to sell your truck and get yourself a 5.0 or 6.2 or an ecoboost truck with all the work done for you. I recommend the 5.0 with a tune, but I'm a biased shill.

My buddies 4.6 runs very strong, he did cat back and intake and 5 star tunes. Very impressive for such a small displacement V8.
