F-150 traction control

I was going down a dirt road a bit faster than I probably should have been.... I went to power through the corner and my traction control came on, cut power, braked and successfully landed me in a ditch. I would have been fine except there was a boulder that managed to snap my tie rod and eff up my front end. Now I understand I am completely at fault, but I sincerely believe that I would have cornered fine if the traction control hadn't engaged.

Here's a clue, if you don't want to hit the ditch, don't aim the steering wheel into the ditch. Duh.
And for others who are having issue with the stability control off road. Just put it in 4 low.

I put mine on a switch. We had a big snow storm a couple months ago and I had to pull a few people out of the ditch and up steep roads. I even pulled a flat bed tow truck up a hill he could not get up. If I did not have that switch I put in I would not been able to do have the stuff I did with pushing and holding the factory shut off, because it all comes back on at 35mph. Just because my tires are spinning that fast does not mean I'm moving that fast.

The stability control merely directs the vehicle where the steering wheel is pointed.

All of you guys that don't think there is a problem, are they same guys that would ask Ford why they would make a 650hp mustang. "um why does it need to go 200, the speed limit is 65". Any one that is "Actually" a "Driver" like myself HATES this traction control. It is awful, I to thought about getting rid of the truck I love because of this stupid traction control.
Just my 2 cents, haha, here we go.
