Carriage Works Black Billet Grille Finish Durability?
Looking at getting the Carriage Works Billet Grille in the powdercoat black finish. Anyone have the black version that can speak of the durability of the powdercoat both with chipping and maintaining it's finish?
I ask because we do have some snow here with salt applied to the roads but I make a habit of taking the truck through a touchless carwash when it's too cold to hand wash.

yeah, I had their black upper and lower grille combo set on my 04 truck for 5 years, and now also the lower black bumper grille on my 09 truck for over 2.5 years, and they held up great. And I live in Pittsburgh with snow/salt. Only issue on my 04 truck grille was that some of the bolts started to rust but I called them and they sent me out some new ones for free! I highly recommend Carriage Works grilles.

Mine is good so far.

Link for the grille? I am planning on painting my surround and installing a black billet or getting a Paramount Restyling grille shell with billet already installed and have the shell painted to match. Might even stick with a chrome billet, since my bumpers are chrome (which is the only thing I hate about my truck...)

I heard you have to mold/bend the grille a little to get it to take the proper shape needed for mounting. Is this true for yal that have it?
