Exterior mods to the ‘09 FX4
In a previous thread I had asked for opinions on a 2013 Platinum style grille which was unanimous in favor of. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to obtain the grille I was looking at but in the mean time managed to snag a 6 bar FX grille with an ingot silver surround . I separated the center grille section from the surround and installed it in my flame blue surround. It was quite difficult to separate the inner grille from the surround with all of the snap together clips, but with a little patience I managed it without breaking any thing. I also added HD head & tail lights and a set of the new style FX4 20” wheels. Replaced the mirror reflectors. Ditched the bug deflector. Before and after pics.

Looks really good. A lot better. The new darker FX wheels really tie in better with your two-tone rocker panels.
