When the dealer runs an oasis report to determine warranty coverage this is part of what they will see, a snippet of my oasis report as an example below.

My opinion is that people and corporations will find any way they can to get out of spending money they don't have to spend. I was reading one thread on here this morning where a F150 owner said the dealer was telling him his 11 month old truck with 15,000 miles was not covered by the warranty because he had replaced the original 20 wheels with 20 inch wheels. It may have needed a new transmission or something major.

thanks for the heads up.....I noticed that little tidbit on the paperwork.....the ford dealer transferred the plan to me, the new owner. Explained the details, gave me the brochures as if I was just buying the plan. Frick, I even got them to reference it on the bill of sale. It better be legit now.

Saw that also but they are in Qatar I think, here in the states they might try to pull that in hopes the owner is an idiot, way over in another country your pretty much screwed.

I might have to break my truck out of that service department at night. Enterprise car rental tried some slick crap on me once. Tried to bill for extra mileage even though it was included as unlimited. I made a nice sign about Enterprise=ripoff and stood outside there location. Manager quickly came out and credited my card.

Just look at all the threads about noises, vibrations, limp mode etc etc. Nobody knows when or if your truck is going to screw around. Again... Take it to the dealership to get checked out... There's $200. Fix, another $120 per hour and parts and "shop supplies". It adds up QUICK!

On my 2009 I had no heat. Ended up ring an actuator or something. Would've been something like $800... Cost me nothing. Leakin third take light... Free repair and liner clean. Was shifting bad, reflashed computer for free.

Was it dealership service that was great, perhaps. I'm a finance kind of guy that look at the affordability on a monthly basis. $50 or whatever it is per month for 100% peace of mind... Worth it to me... But then again... I can't be THAT smart... I'm on a 7 year finance.... Lol
What was the exact plan you got and paid for if you don't mind me asking. Just purchased a 2015 Platinum and Lariat. Service plan seems ok but I want a warranty like GM backs with P/T and that. But I don't want to pay heavily...I'm Also in Alberta

Hell yes it's worth the money!!! I'd be a broke SOB with this truck if it wasn't for my warranty/extended!
