Exploding rear window
I'm thinking maybe 1/2 to be extra careful. If the defrost performance is not adequate, then we can bump it up.
On my 2011 there is on econnector to the rear window grid. It is on the rear of the cab passenger side.

I'm on the list now My windshield was iced over this morning, 25F and windy in the western NC mountains, hit the remote start, put my backpack on the rear seat and walked to my office. Came back out an hour later, grab my backpack and see the drivers side rear window is shattered, wtf, really.
The closest dealership, 30 minutes away doesn't replace glass, on the road the next several days and from what I read is not a problem for Ford and is epidemic. I have a 2013 with over 130k, but what does miles on the truck have to do with the rear glass integrity. Love my Fords, but very disappointed after reading how common this is and that Ford turns a blind eye.
