Dang Crystal, I wish I had posted here when I had the problem with the rear glass. It got worked out, but seems like you are a nice resource to have.

Crystal,
I understand that you do not have anything to do with the design or repair but Ford as a company does. Since they redesigned the glass they are admitting there is a problem. Now Ford as a company needs to step up and repair their mistake. I would understand if it was one vehicle but this forum is a small fraction of F-150 owners and it seems like it is effecting most of us.

As I mentioned before, the rear defrost on my truck is not working. I took it to the dealer and I was told to repair the problem I would have to replace the glass. So I lost my truck for one day already and will have to lose it for another day plus more then $800 for parts and labor. I feel like Ford is not doing the right thing as a company and its very disappointing!

My replacement as of today is different. Even the sliding window is different. I know when my rep was filling out the warrenty form he had to have a picture of the emblem in the drivers side bottom corner.

Same here, mine was replaced, can't tell the difference. I appears that there are some larger grid lines near the bottom.

Ford changed the design in newer 2015 trucks. Does the glass have Carlite imprinted on the bottom corner?
