Had this happen to my 13 yesterday morning.safelight glass came out and fixed it today.says they do a lot of these.he has 16 in warehouse,My truck is an power slider w defrost.It popped only about a mile from home.

Make Sure you file a Report with NHTSA, to get this hopefully turned into a Recall! As it should be.

Yes, also for the few of you who have had this repaired under the Ford warranty please save your paper work. I would think if you can show/prove that some people are getting this done under warranty they'd have to do it for everyone.

Did safe light say anything about the replacements? Is tje rear defroster any different or do you think it may happen again with the replacement?
