^This, I'd like to see if the solid rear window is explosion-free.

In my owners manual it says #4 is the Rear window defroster relay, #32 is the Rear window defroster relay power / Heated mirror relay power, and #56 is the Heated mirrors.
So If I just pull #4 the heated mirrors should still work but the rear defroster won't correct?

I would really like to know this also, I would love to have my heated mirrors back ! I pulled #32 to be safe, I can't afford to install another rear window.

Have you thought about just trying it rather than waiting for someone on the internet to answer?

I've read 22 pages and found part of my questions andwered. My truck is 2012, I took the relay out after putting the key to accessory and pushing the button and no light on my dash. I turned on my truck and pushed it and had an orange light.

I removed the relay because my wife drives the truck once in a while and I didn't want either of us to forget about it. I did tell her about the thread but life happens and people can be forgetful.

My other question is in regards to the heated mirrors. On the 12's the rear defrost and the mirrors are on the same circuit. I didn't see a button in my truck for the mirrors, is it the same one for the rear defrost and all three components come on together?

I'd like to use my mirror defrost but don't wanna risk the rear glass. On top of the cost to replace it I have MI ORV stickers on there. They're still good til next year. I'd loose them.

EDIT: my question is the same as K9-ex and Rjm321. Guess I should have continued reading. I searched "f150 heated mirror switch" and found out it's tied into the rear defrost. I'm not about to pull #4 to test this therory as I don't wanna pay for a new rear window if it doesn't work.

Ok, I pulled #4, I now do not know if my mirrors work as the button on the dash doesn't light up. I pushed it and put my hand on the mirror to see if it got warm but didn't change in temp.

My understanding is the heated mirrors work in conjunction with the rear defroster. If you have disabled the power to the rear defrost, I would assume the mirrors will not heat defrost.
