Anyone that has had it explode needs to get in touch with Crystal on here. After being denied twice, I was accepted and it was replaced under my extended warranty. That thermal image is perfect; super super hot on the driver's side.

She did nothing for me. Once the dealer found out Ford was willing to pay for 50%, they jacked up the price and charged me $1200. $600 out of pocket is bull****.

Lucky you, although I hate to read that FORD is PICKING AND CHOOSING WHO they will EXTEND additional assistance to!

Sad!

If you're under extended warranty it shouldn't be an issue. It took me two dealerships and multiple PM's to get it done.

You need to report that dealer to Ford and to Crystal on here.

I was 2 months out of warranty with 22k miles on my truck. If it was under extended warranty I'd be pissed that I had to go to 2 dealers for them to honor the warranty.

The service mgr said that if I had been a previous ford owner/customer, they (Ford Corp) probably would've been more helpful. W. T. F. Great way to treat your customers. This is my last Ford. F**k them.

I was a year out of warranty on my Toyota 4runner (maybe 2 yrs) when the caps on the valve stems corroded and froze (aluminum caps on steel TPMS valves). I was looking at over $800 to replace all 5 TPMS sensors. Toyota knew it was an issue and good-willed the entire repair. That's what a company should do for their customers, new or old.

I did not abuse my truck. I pressed a button and it cost me $600 out of pocket because Ford engineers are idiots and can't design a rear defrost that doesn't explode the rear window. It's been a standard feature in almost all cars for the past half century at least but they still screw it up. What's worse is that they won't admit to it and let their customers pay for the repair.

I wrote the president of Ford and the Owner of the dealership that mis diagnosed my fan issue, neither responded. They don't care because they know they have your money!

Oh and by the way, Crystal and her gang (Ford Escalation team) sided with the first dealers wrong diagnosis, even refused to send some one to see the truck!

As I said in an earlier post, they apparently pick and choose who they want to help!
