I'm happy it's not just me. My woman actually gets jealous of my truck from time to time and this is not an exaggeration...haha

Oh yeah, when my '11 was in for hail damage repair I was driving my family's Ford Focus. I'm OK with driving the car now as it's my daily driver on my long city commute to work, because I know the truck is home waiting for me. But for some reason when I was driving the car and my truck was in for repair, I couldn't wait to get back into the truck after the week was done. Something about the commanding view of the road that makes it so great. That, and how the F-150's drive so nice.

I hear ya. I'm glad my truck got the garage for the 3 weeks I'm down here. At least I know it's clean and warm with a drip charger plugged in so it doesn't go dead. But yeah, Believe me, Palm Springs is just as bad. Everyone is on their phones and veering all over the place paying no attention. The 55 mph speed limits don't help either.

Another example is I find myself making huge wide turns in her car. Just today we took the family ice skating and pulled into the parking garage. I hit the turn into the garage extra wide (used to a 157" F-150) and my wife says " Hey your not driving your truck, you can hit that turn tighter in the car"
Lol! When my dad got his 2011 Limited through his work, he brought his old personally owned Escalade down to SoCal and we use it here. It's the SWB model with a really tight turning radius, even better than most cars. I still find myself making wide turns especially in parking spots. I usually back into spots in my truck, and when I'm with my mom in the Escalade she looks at me like I'm an idiot for making such wide turns and ending up crooked in the parking spot.

I'm glad I am not the only one who gets super paranoid in public parking lots! I'm usually the truck parked in the back row all by it self...I dont care if I have to walk an extra 2 minutes!

Yes... I recently had this occur when I was on holidays in Ontario / Quebec. Three weeks without my trucks.

My cure? Nationaliza Carentalis. I used the "Emerald Isle Executive" formulation.

Convinced the wife that the Flex isn't half bad. Now to find a '13 EB Limited...
