Default Flowmaster 15377

I installed this tip today. I was going to paint it flat black.But it looked so good I just left it alone. It's double walled and has a brushed chrome finish. 3" to 4". I cut 4" off my pipe.

Here's my 3" to 4" matte black.
Cut about 8 inches off the stock

I did a similar thing; cut off about 1' and put a 12" long, 3.5" diameter tip (stainless, double wall). Since I cut the piping around the bend, I was able to modify the angle of the tip. Great looking and not very expensive, no change in noise/sound.

Ok...so the plot thickens...first I ordered a 2 1/2" inlet...to small...then I ordered a 3" inlet...to big!!! So I am guessing I need a 2 3/4" inlet but I don't know why I seem to be the only one that needs this size...what size is the ford factory tip if anybody knows???

i just measured my old exhaust off my 5.0L. it's 3 inch OD. so i would need a 3 inch ID tip to clamp on. go and measure your pipe. if it measures 2 and 3/4 OD then you need a 2 3/4 inch ID tip. and any exhaust shop should be able to make an adaptor for you to use that 3 inch tip. i know i can here at my shop.

ID=inside diameter
OD=outside diameter
