I have a 2013 SCAB and went with the Solo Performance Dual Cat-Back system: http://www.stage3motorsports.com/201...t-Systems.html
The quality of the system is amazing - bright polished stainless muffler, etc. and it was pretty easy to install. I did end up adding a resonator a couple of months later, just to keep the highway noise down some.

Just shop around before ya take it to a shop to hack your muffler and stuff out..
I just put a magnaflow catback on my truck a few months ago and cost me less then $450 cdn. It was a clearence item at a local shop in the area here, so I got kind of lucky, but not to say you cant come across the same luck.

Yea I have a V8 5.4 with 5star tunes and the Legato system with dual side exit. I will try to get a video up in the next day or two. I think it sounds great, especially with the transmission shifting the way it should with the tune!

I would strongly recommend leaving the stock resonator, and having the factory muffler replaced with an aftermarket muffler of your choice. It will get considerably louder, and you will immediately notice that the truck feels like it has no torque. But the ECU will adjust a little bit over time.
It's been proven that full cat-back systems give absolutely no benefits over doing a muffler swap. One of the big magazines even did flow testing on both on the same truck to show the results. No sense in spending ridiculous $$$ on a cat-back system.
Also, if you go with a Dynomax, Magnaflow, etc. that has fiberglass packing inside, be advised that over time the muffler will get louder. No matter what they tell you, my experience is that the fiberglass does burn in and either blows out or changes in frequency and tone over time.

I have been trying to pick a exhaust for awhile now just can't pull the trigger. I think I am just gonna do a 14 Magnaflow and keep the resonator but wondering if anyone has used the straight through Magnapack and keeping the resonator?

2014 fx4 5.0
My truck (14 FX4 5.0) came with Flowmasters going into a dual in dual out, and it sounds great, but I don't see a resonator on it, and I feel like it may be lagging some torque.
