I've got those same chrome wheels. They're a pain in the butt to keep clean but man do they look sharp when they're all polished up. Nice truck!

Good looking truck and I think you did well with the dealer coming back again and again to you like that. I looked for a two-tone I liked and ended up with my Platinum tri coat because I really liked it and couldn't make up my mind on the two-tone' s they had available.

Good job on your trade!

I had a white 2011 SCrew FX4 for a 24hr trial run from the dealer and would have bought it until my girlfriend told me that while she liked everything else about the truck, she thought it looked "cheap". Obviously these trucks are ANYTHING but cheap, LOL, and I still couldn't comprehend why she would say such a thing until you said that about the work truck! Maybe thats what her crazy female mind is coming from... white is still one of my favorite colors, especially w/ black rims, but every other car and truck here in AZ is white, so yeah...

+1 on that. If you can trade up a year for a comparable truck, you did a GREAT job!

I used to hate white trucks. I went to a dealer looking for a silver Platinum and saw my Limited. It was an instant attraction.

I had a similar experience with my dealer but I also walked in the door prepared. I knew what my trade was worth. I knew what retail was. I told him straight off the bat that I will not pay anything over 1.5% invoice and whatever you need to do to get there do it. I wouldn't haggle back and forth. Go get me the lowest and we will talk. He came back with a number and I walked away saying I was heading to two other dealers to get quotes and the best quote wins.

I did go to the other dealerships with the same attitude and got laughed at by one and insulted by the other. The first dealer called back a day later with a better number that was actually under invoice after factory incentives and financing incentives. Only thing bad was I had to go with Ford Credit and got a little bit of a high APR something near 6%. I signed a paper saying I wouldn't refinance for 4 months. I will after that.

Go Big Red!!!

Thanks for all the compliments guys/(gals?). When I bought my 10 I almost bought a black one but it had the silver/two tone and did not think the black/silver looked good.(to me anyway. sorry to those who have that color combo.) It's all a matter of preference. Drove almost 100 miles before I picked up a nice big screw in the right front tire
