Everyone that has done indash tablet can you help me?!
Ok I have been looking at tablets for about a week now and I'm still not sure which one to buy? I know I don't want to put an iPad but other then that I'm open to anything. I need it to connect VIA Bluetooth, I also would like to have down loaded movies and music on it and I also need it to have gps without being connected to the internet. Any help and advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I have the Google Nexus 7 tablet which I plan on installing in my truck soon. It's probably the best tablet out there right now, and the fit with the scosche dash kit is pretty much right on I believe.

better looking than geno
With any Android tablet you can save movies you buy from the play store, as well as any music you buy. There are navagation apps that work without internet.
I have the nexus 7 and love it. I have considered a nexus 10 but with the work involved I don't think its really worth it. Something about 9 would be perfect but its not a common size. The one geno has is 9 and he seems to like it. But $249 with 32 gb of storage was too easy so I went nexus 7. Best mod yet.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have been looking into the Nexus 7 and it seems to be a pretty good tablet. I am putting this into my 95 f150 so I will be getting a new head unit with Bluetooth and dual usb ports. But I wanted to post this here because you guys are the experts at putting tablets indash.

You wouldn't want to rely on data for GPS anyways. You definitely want to make sure whatever tablet you use has an internal GPS radio, and the app you buy works offline. I know TomTom does on iOS devices, and I think Navigon does too. I love it, because when I travel off into the woods somewhere for vacation, I'm totally blocked out of cell service, but my GPS is still working.
