Default Ever Wish...

Do you ever wish you had both a 5.0 and an Ecoboost F-150 sitting in the garage. And, depending on how you felt in the morning, drive your choice of truck to work that day?

PS - First guy that says he has a Platinum of both gets a noogie.

Haven't thought that. That would be twice the payment, ouch!

If I had the money, it would be cool to have a 2nd truck being a raptor.

I just wish I had a truck at this point. The wait for my Limited is killing me! I'll be really happy when I have that Ecoboost to drive.

I can't say I would want two payments but having the choice each day between the sweet sound of an awesome V8 or economy and performance of the eco would be sweet

I've got a 5.0 XLT for work & an ecoboost FX4 with all options for play. Both are 2011's and have been problem free since new.

Well my brother has an ecoboost so we could just trade for a short time if we wanted to I guess.

If I could afford to have 2 late model trucks, I'd rather have a F-150 6.2L DD and a F-250 Powerstroke to choose from in the garage every morning.

The 5.0 doesn't appeal to me in any way really in the F-150, the Ecoboost was always the only real option after driving both for a weekend each, so I would have to say no on that. But I would definitely be up for something like an FX4 Ecoboost for day-to-day, and a 6.2L Raptor for fun, if it had to be two trucks. Heck, might even go for a 3.7L F-150 in whatever the highest trim it is available in for day to day, to really help conserve on the fuel if I knew I had the Raptor at home for letting loose.

If it was going to be a 5.0 and an Ecoboost in the same garage, and those were my only two choices for engines, it would have to be the 5.0 in a Mustang and Ecoboost in the F-150, that would be a duo I wouldn't turn down. Winter time and heavy snow grab the FX4, rest of the time you have the Mustang.
