Tried the Ford ETIS site but it says it's off line - will try later. Went to look at the truck today and damn if it isn't badged properly as a Platinum with "LIMITED" down the side of the bed. I got the VIN from him. Will investigate further. The owner says it was one of about 750 made. It has the 3.5L EB also, not a 6.2L like Limited's came with.
Definitely not a limited. If you look at the brochure and look at the limited standard options, that truck is missing quite a few. Did it have the laser engraved center console plaque saying limited and what # out of what # it was and the vin engraved? Two tone leather interior custom only to the limited edition?
That is a Platinum with Lariat Limited rims and badges. It was 6.2L only so having the 3.5 EcoBoost means it can’t be the Lariat Limited. It’s a fake, odd someone did that lol.

When I bought my 2011 Platinum, I immediately swapped the eggcrate grille for the 6-bar. Guess I should have traded that off as a Platinum XLT. Honestly, best part about it was I could easily spot my truck in a sea of white 2009-2014 F150s.
Agree, it's definitely not a Limited. VIN is 1FTFW1ET2BFC97404 - So, looks like it is a Platinum with Limited rims/tires (22") and the Limited badge on the bed. Look carefully at the placement of the LIMITED lettering relative to the rear tail light. In the video you sent, the lettering starts a good 6-8" away from the front edge of the tail light lens. On the picture I posted, the lettering goes right up to the front edge of the lens. It's definitely been added. I think I will pass on this one. Don't want to deal with a hokey re-badging job.
Seller gonna be like : it was so limited there was a window sticker mistake, got through before they realized it and they forgot to badge the console. But don't worry the bed sides have limited on them, it's totally legit. 1/1 of that 1/750 made.
Are you sure it’s not a Lariat Limited? They came with the 6.2L V8 only and as the name suggests it was a “limited” production run in 2011&2012. Normally pearl white in color with a color matched grille and rims with a short bed. Usually will have some blue leather on the seats as well. Owner may just call it wrong and not know.
No, the seller is bent on it being a Platinum Limited - not a Lariat Limited. I qualified him on the difference. Claims he has proof - the original window sticker. Claims only 750 made. I'm moving on. It's not on my radar any more as an option. Thanks all for the info. Appreciate it.
