When I picked up my truck last week, they offered me the service plan for oil changes for $1,400 for 6 years, 75,000 miles. I declined, but the price is inline with what you have.

I get my oil changes for the works at 30-40 bucks..... Less when ask one dealer to price match a 19.95 oil change at his competitor.
If i were buying a product and the seller told me it would need 1000 worth of work during the factory warranty period, that wouldn't be covered.... I'd be done with his product.
Get your money back.

Retired and loving it!
I agree with the above opinions.....if you can get your money back, I'd do so. Things like wiper blades, tire rotation, topping off all fluids (like windshield washer fluid), and other routine stuff still are going to look pretty expensive for that price....

When I was offered the service plan for $1,400 I asked what it covered. He said it covers all oil changes. Plus any belts, fluids, wipers, 30,000 mile maintenance, and 60,000 mile maintenance.
So I said a 75,000 mile plan means 10 oil changes which run about $40. So that is $400. I asked for the manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule. At 30,000 miles the only recommended maintenance is oil change and replace seat air filter. There is no recommended 60,000 mile maintenance. At 100,000 I believe it was a radiator flush. Then at 150,000 miles is a transmission oil change.
So as a previous poster said above, you paid for expensive oil changes. And if you get the oil change at the dealer it includes all fluids and tire rotation and detailed multi point inspection.

I have the service one and it is great! It covers rotors and brake pads and bulbs also. I just had my wife's flex done with a full brake job front and rear for $0 deductible.
It may not be worth it if you don't put a lot if mileage on but it works great for us.
