Default Error Code B00D5 Restraint System Passenger Disable Indicator

My Airbag/Restraint light flashes, goes off for a second, then stays on while the truck is running.

I'm getting Error Code B00D5 Restraint System Passenger Disable Indicator

Has anyone dealt with this code ... is it a sensor? Does anyone know the location or reasons for the error code?

Thanks

Id have to double check the paperwork to see if theres a code on it but I had my airbag light going off and on for a bit.

Looked an my older post about it.

TSB 13-1-14 said it had somthing to do with a faulty sensor in the seatbelt retractor.

Ya, it's staying on solid. After the initial flashing at start, then off, then back on solid (no flash) for as long as the truck is running.

take off negative battery terminal for 10 minutes, might not solve it but a clean reboot never hurts

Unfortunately didn't work. Light came back on with engine start after battery pull. Tried clearing the code with the ODB and it cleared, the light would go off but it comes back on in 2-3 seconds and stays on again.

Faulty sensor in the seatbelt retractor. I've had to have both seatbelt retractors replaced. 3 weeks apart

Thanks for the reply.

clip a seat belt in and out a few times... look for a broken or pinched wire coming off the seat maybe leaving the seatbelt in it will keep it happy

Ya, I tried that too, lol. Clicking it in and out, leaving it in etc., pulling the belts in and out to see if the retractor had a pinch or something. Trouble shooting continues. Annoying thing is that nobody had even been in the passenger seat in 3 months for the belt to have been pulled out and used. Light came on out of nowhere.
