EPAS Failure - Electric Power steering
#121
When EPAS starts to fail, at least in my case, I would get a "Service Advancetrac" warning and the traction control light would come on and the signals would not work. I could clear it with the next key cycle and drive it a few feet or so. Finally, it just went completely.

Code: U0131 and then he had OO-OA ABS. Not sure about the other stuff and he did not write down any of the secondary codes since they seemed to be "under" the U0131 code. He also had written down No Communication with PSCM.

Driving in a parking lot today in my 2012 3.5 f150, power steering totally locked up and got a service advance track and power steering assist failure notifications. Can't get the truck to turn at all. Has anyone had any luck getting any compensation from ford or am I in my own? Right at 90k miles now and have a 3rd party warranty but I'm not sure if they'll cover anything
