Default Enough Towing power?

Hi I'm thinking of buying a 23 foot travel trailer that weighs 6300 lbs. I was wondering if my truck would have enough power to tow it. I own a 2011 4x4 supercrew with the 5.0 and 3.73 gears. My truck is equipped with the 7200 towing package. Any feedback from the towing experts would be appreciated thanks!

You're off on your numbers. You have a 7200# payload package and can tow 9300#'s. You're good to tow.

Do a search on this forum for "need help with my math, please" should give you what you need to know. Just went through it all there. Good luck. Stick with it and do the calculations on paper. You'll get it.

Payload is more like 1100-1500 depending on his trim level and towing capacity is 8000 Max,
