I have a 2011 f150 limited lariat 6.2 with the 411hp version I here the noise only in park I drive this thousands of miles no performance chnage at all some times there ticking sometime there noise from the bottom end sounds like a slight quite knock but does go away sometimes.
i do know the tourqe convertor is on its way out for sure I hope that’s the noise but it sounds internal and I just spent lots of money fixing the truck hope it’s not the engine lol

you can also take an oil sample and send it out to someone like blackstone and see what they say - they can pick up stuff that may not be visible yet but could be an early warning of a pending failure - or give you a clean bill of health
