I detailed my engine today with a Griots engine detail kit. This stuff worked awesome and didn't take anytime at all. I put a plastic grocery bag over the alternator. I'm pretty happy with the results.

That's really nice. How much would you charge to clean the raccoon **** off the headers of my work truck? :p

It was really simple. I first put the plastic bag over my alternator and then sprayed the Engine bay spray pretty heavy over the entire engine bay. I also sprayed the underneath side edges of the hood. I then sprayed the overspray off the fenders. This stuff is suppose to be safe on the paint but not taking any chances. I let it sit for 5 minutes and took a rag to a few places that looked more soiled. After that I used the hose on jet stream and rinsed the cleaner off. I dried everything I could get to and then sprayed the engine dressing over the entire engine bay. Let that sit for 10 min and sprayed the dressing again. Pretty simple project that took 20 minutes or so.
