Endless search to increase Ecoboost MPG's

Today, I reset the mpg meter and drove 6 miles at a constant 50 mph. It was boring as heck, but my truck averaged 34.2 mpg. I was surprised, too. So, if you want good mpg's, drive slower and drive like you don't have brakes.
FWIW, my lifetime average is 20.2 with 25,000 miles.
Oh yea, and I run pure-gas nearly all the time.

This forum would be boring without mpg threads.... Traffic would decrease and all that would be left is plastidip, rims, tires, lifts, lowers, chrome haters, chrome lovers, bed liners, hid headlights, people bitching about hids, tuners, and bed caps....

Add one more to the 3:73 and 17 mpg club. 2011 supercab 3.5 max tow 4x4 with 22,000 miles. I think thats pretty good considering my 2008 screw 5.4 4x4 got around 14-15 combined. I bought mine to tow my camper then ended up leaving it a perminant site Oh well at least its fun to pick on how slow my buddies hemi is.

It takes FUEL (Gasoline/Diesel, etc.) to make POWER.
However, drive on flat roads (no hills/mountains or stops) at 55mph with cruise on and I bet you'll be happy with the results.
People don't realize they don't give MPG ratings in real world conditions. Has anyone ever bothered to read the fine print under the MPG rating? haha!
