5.0 engine noise

5.0 engine noise
I have a 2013 ford f150 5.0 with just over 110,000 miles and not too long ago it started to develop a knocking or ticking sound when you start it after letting the truck sit for a while. The noise goes away after the engine warms up to operating temperature. I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced a similar problem. I recorded a video for you guys to hear what i am talking about.

It's pretty tough to do without a video. Can you upload to youtube and then post the link here?
Could be a number of things, what I think of instantly when I see posts about their 5.0s knocking/ticking/tapping or whatever verb you choose to describe it, is the infamous cylinder distortion. More common on 11-12s, but some 13s have it too, including mine.
The mic picks it up a lot more than can be heard in person. This video was recorded over a year ago when I bought the truck, I've since deleted the resonator and put in a 18" magna flow muffler and I can only hear it when I try to hear it. My exhaust is pretty quiet at idle too and I have to try and hear it, it's just something you get used to.
I've been tuned for maybe 15k or so miles now (10 miles away from 70k) and my truck regularly sees 7k shifts and it hasn't missed a beat. General consensus is that it isn't going to affect longevity, an there was a truck on here with over 300k miles I believe with the knock. It certainly isn't anything I'd sell my truck over!

Check out this thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/5-0-kn...-worse-368280/
Recently started with my truck and it got progressively worse to the point where the knock would be heard over the A/C and radio. Started to get some hesitation going from a stop so traded in the truck while it was still driving. If it was the oblong cylinder issue mentioned in that thread it wouldn't have been worth fixing in my case. My post is at the end of that thread that explains how I tried to diagnose. Best of luck!
