Emblem painting service?

Maybe another area of business you could explore would be painting grille surrounds seeing as you have already done so with success and some body shops won't (or don't know how) to paint the plastic chrome. Not sure if round trip shipping costs would be economical for the buyer or not, but just an idea.
What is the timetable looking like as far as you getting up and running?

1. The shipping, like you said. When I got my current grille, i sold my old one on Craigslist. Someone from Texas bought it. They paid extra for paint. Then I lost my *** in shipping, it was $70.
2. And this is the biggest thing for me. Color match. Especially the Tri stage colors like UG white platinum, and RR Ruby red. I spend a lot of time doing spray out card let down panels for those types of colors. Mainly because you can park 5 RR's next to each other, 2 or even 3 might have the same number of tinted clear coats, but the last 2 or 3 might be totally different. I would just hate to have people pay me, then I take a stab in the dark and do 2 coats of pearl, and then a customer gets it, and it's not right... Maybe it needed 3 coats.
My timetable is held up with current family obligations. I should be good in about 2-3 weeks. But that could be held up until I can come up with vendor fees. Normally it wouldn't be an issue. But currently my work is dead. And I am commission. No cars= no money. So anything not going towards bills, is tough to let go of.
Sorry for the long winded post

Just another update here. Have a test subject in house right now. Proving hard to do in between paint jobs at work. Well not hard, just would severely delay me for turnaround time.
Basically I'm going to have to get set up in my garage. Not a big deal, just might take me awhile to get up and running there. Until then my turnaround time will be slow. If people can be patient, this shouldn't be a problem.
At this point I'm just saving for vendor fees. Also I have family coming in to visit in a weea, so I don't want to be pulled away doing this stuff while they're in town. After they leave, I should be up and going.
All I ask is, patience.

I'm interested in ovals. I was going to order a set of limited fender badges from CTS but now I am second guessing. I really like the clean look of the limited fender badge. I would prefer to get rid of the XLT part. I was thinking black surrounds with sterling grey inside (sanded) on a black truck, with paired black and grey ovals (and bezel)
Anyone know where I can get a set of limited fender badges for a reasonable price?

Great to see there is still interest in this!!
My test subject is winding down. Almost done with it.
So far the greatest challenge is fitting the pieces in with paint jobs at work. Which I had mentioned before. This hugely reduces my turnaround on these emblems. Until I can movethe operation into my garage at home, i will be extremely slow. So if everyone can bear with me early on, it will still work out.
I will have more accurate pricing coming up soon. Also for other pieces, such as mirror reflectors, and the ovals.
My process for painting these is really working well.
Pics for those interested in the progress....
I was able to match the appearance package emblem flat black really close.
Which will give this emblem a uniform appearance package look... This is taken apart, it is not all clipped together yet.
