Electronic locker disengaging in 4wd?

Op, my suggestion is to just keep doing what you are doing. The first part that quits is probably the culprit. Please post back the broken part so we know what to tell the next person who posts the question.

so what i got from some of the above statements is sure its YOUR truck and you can do what you want, (which i agree with) but if you do, you run a HIGH chance of breaking your truck. some have done it and didn't learn the first time and took their truck in the shop TWICE.
The OP shouldn't face criticism for driving it however he wants, your unhelpful comments were unnecessary is the point I'm making here. We don't go around making fun of people for holding back 365hp like they're 80yrs old.
BTW the first time it broke, it was 3 weeks old and unmodified... and this was before I drove it like I stole it. Defect in the system according to my dealer.

difference is we aint professional race team driver. thats like me saying the guy who jumped his raptor had all the ppl say he was and idiot in fact isn't a idiot cause he did what he wanted with his truck....guess he wasn't afraid to play and aint no kitty kat. so the 90 feet raptor jump man shouldn't face criticism cause he drove his truck the way he wanted to..makes sense. and i don't drive my truck like a 80 year old man but i also don't drive it like a 17 year old boy taking it to a track when clearly it wasn't designed for that.

Were these trucks designed for off roading/mud riding? I don't think they were, and I don't criticize when something breaks in the process (which happens just as often)! Are these trucks designed to tow over half of that 11,200 lb rating often... ford says they are, but if you push it hard enough for long enough, it will break. These trucks can break doing exactly what they're designed to do just as easily. You don't see me chime in with "you should have bought a super duty dumbass". According to your train of thought, these trucks are street queens and daily commuters and anyone using them otherwise is dumb for using it that way? How about you use yours like you want and leave people who choose a different route to deal with the problems they incur without your criticism.

It was definitely coming from the drivers rear wheel. I ran the truck in 2wd and it was fine, next was in 4wd shifitng out, the 4wd leaving it in full run and it did it both times. I have a video on my phone of it doing it. It was not coming from the front and all i could think about was the locker getting hung up. Im not afraid to break parts. I had a 2013 mustang gt with nitrous etc break a rear end running 10.80's. I just like to have fun
