Electric exhaust CUT-OUTS

I have these also; have had 'em on my truck since early 2010. Love them, and I don't know what y'all are smoking but they are LOUD. I have the truck custom tuned as well, but it is not required. Some side notes: Expect to lose roughly 1.5 mpg with them open (you're eliminating back pressure in a system meant to have it), you will lose low-end torque when they are open but you will gain high-end horsepower. If I'm ever testing the speed against another vehicle, I take off the line with them closed and then open them up once I'm in the higher rpm band for the best torque-horsepower combination.
I have DMH cutouts and I wouldn't buy any other brand. They have a 4 year no-questions-asked warranty on them. One last caveat, I have had mine replaced twice now. The motor went out on both of them because I do a lot of offroading and because of the way I had it mounted. I had it mounted laying up against the frame rail and over time, the hard hits, vibrations, and bumps rattled the motor and caused them to fail. I have since changed the way I had it mounted, and have had zero problems.

On a different note...I have been working with Mike at 5-Star on another customer 93 octane tune and so far I am getting around 13.0 -14.5mpg in town if I stay off the go pedal. Even with the dump open. Better MPG's by far with the 93 than the 87.
This is not a MPG high-jack!!!

Get the DMH product...4 year warranty....they don't leak. Also...you say FLAP(S). Also...You should only need one unless you have split your system into true duals after the cats. I have a Corsa Cat back. On the Raptor, the two cats come together into a 3" pipe and then there is a small resonator. I placed the dump after the resonator and before the muffler on the Catback system. Kept the resonator because the Corsa system was harmonically designed with it in place. Absolutely no drone which is a big deal on the Screw cabs with 6.2's.

this is my set up i did it myself it cost me around $81 for the dynomax muffler and $10 on clamps and universal hanger and $25 on a gibson 3.5" stainless tip
ill have to put the cut out in front of the muffler and dump it toward the driveshaft or run another pipe from the cutout and put it next to the gibson tip to make it look like a dual exit comin off the muffler.

Where did you get the tip? Is there any noticeable difference with/without the tip?
