Eibach vs 5100

Eibach vs 5100
Last July I "upgraded" to some icon 2.0s and I have forever hated the ride, especially for the money spent. My rear shock bushing went south already so I pulled them and put my old bilsteins back on and noticed the rear smoothed out and wasn't as jittery. I'm due for ball joints soon and plan on ditching the coilovers for some struts. I'm not going to bother revalving the icons so that's off the table.
Has anybody have the 5100s and Eibach pros on the same truck? I do a ton of highway and a whole lot of forest roads that have small sharp bumps in sucession. I'm after a comfortable ride and I don't care if I have a little body roll, it's a truck not a sports car.

Going to be very few if any that have had both on the same truck. I've had both on different trucks.
On my current '13 F150 I have Eibach pro-truck sport shocks all round. Ride is subjectively improved, more firm but still compliant. The Eibachs quell body motions over dips and swales, provide more secure feeling without being harsh or fatiguing. If I had it to do all over again, I would purchase the same Eibachs.
Noticed that Eibach now has a pro-truck +2 inch spring shock combo. No idea what the spring rate is on these units or how they would compare to your current Icon units. The OEM front spring rate us understood to be 435 ft lbs.

I have had both and my opinion is the 5100's are valved a little more stiff than the EIbach's. I have the Eibach Stage 1 lift currently which is the RHA shocks and lifted spring kit and it feels great on the road and doesn't jar you if you shoot off road. Its not as plush as a jeep on the off road but its my daily driver and will never see 30-40 mph over harsh terrain anyway.
I don't know anything about the Icons though...

Cool thanks. Since beating on many rental rigs I have the opnion that the faster you go the smoother it gets-to a point (on forest roads/potholes). My stock handled everything fine and only bottomed out once on a nice rolling hill having some fun when it was new. Apparently icon is meant for massive hits, tho it still bounces the cab violently just as bad as stock over a few of the same washboard sections I despise or maybe I just got a funky valves set, but I've read a few reviews similar to mine and even being resi. By chance did you have the 5100/eibach on the same truck tire combo or separate?

Sorry @Brokemillwright I haven't been on here in awhile.
It was the same truck with the same tire/wheel set up.
Resi set ups don't have anything to do with the actual valving of the shock since the piston/ shim assembly is in the main body of the shock. They just hold more fluid for cooling which in a normal daily driver application doesn't do anything but change the looks.
