2013 f150 lariat 4x4 screw eb 3:30 rear. 5k miles 16mpg. Not happy. I did not buy a ecobust for 16mpg. I will get rid of this truck as soon as I figure a way out.

I'm among the many owners who wish his truck got better mileage. Fortunately I'm also able to do the complex calculations involved in figuring out what these numbers cost me in rear dollars. People get way too hung up on MPGs. The sticker for my truck said the truck is rated 17mpg combined. My lifetime average seems to be around 16.

For the OP i have calculated how much in real dollars it costs to drive the 5000 miles he has on his truck at varius fuel efficiencies. I have to hold fuel cost constant and I chose $3.80 a gallon...the lower the fuel cost the smaller the difference will be.

16MPG = $1187
17MPG = $1117
18MPG = $1055

So if you were getting 18mpg instead of 16 you would have saved a whopping $132

Go ahead...trade your new truck in right away! I'm sure that will be a great financial decision!

I wouldn't have bought an ecobust either. You were supposed to ask for an ecoboost.

Get off the forum you troll.
Go buy a Prius if you want good gas mileage and quit your bitching. You don't deserve an F150 anyways.

Low miles, Lariat model, should get a good trade in value! No need to tell us though. It's what most of us would classify as a "cool story, bro"

The EPA ratings on my window sticker say 15 mpg city, 21 highway, 17 avg So 16 average isn't too bad. Not sure where you're from but winter blend fuel and colder weather have reared their ugly heads here the last couple weeks so I've noticed a slight loss in MPGs and I expect to lose a ittle more as the temps get even colder.

I'll wager you make lots of trips under 10 miles. Am I right?

Don't talk bad about the ecoboost or loogy24 will label you a troll...he does this to anyone who has a different opinion about his six banger.
