Just finished doing the spark plugs. Not too difficult, especially with the right spark plug socket! Thanks for the tips! New plugs came gapped to 0.030. Ecoboost tune up-photo424.jpgEcoboost tune up-photo473.jpg

Don't worry about the red tabs. They snap off always. Ford over engineered the damn things. It's like the equivalent of God putting velcro on our turds.

I used Motorcraft SP-534 plugs and I didn't break any of the red clips. I was able to do the driver side plugs without unclipping the coils, but I did unclip on the passengers side. The red clips on mine were really easy to slide down. My tip for the electrical connection on the coils is to push the connection up and then push the grey part in as you pull out the connector. I was pleasantly surprised I didn't break anything! Here's the video I used to see how to do it.

I did notice that on my '14, the coils are attached at the 4:00 position and not the 11:00 & the electrical connections were at the 6:00 position and not the 12:00 like in the video. Must have changed in '13/14?
