Default Squeaky noise please help '09 f150 screw

Ok, this is driving me borderline insane. When I have my windows down I can here this squeaky noise that sounds like an orchestra of mice mocking my every existence. I wiggled the tail gate and seems to be coming from there so o used that spray dry graphite lube on the hinges and everything and it went away, for a week.... Now that it's back I took the tailgate off, cleaned the hinges real good, and tried installing F4 tape (any acft engine mechanics out there know what I'm talking about an maybe others as well) and I couldn't get the hinges to slide into the gate. So I sprayed it down with lube and re-installed. That was sat. Sunday te family and I go for a drive windows down and there it goes again. It makes my face twitch when I hear it argh!!!! Has anyone else had this similar problem? There has to be a better fix than lubing the hinges every day/week. Any help would be amazing!!!

Grease those rubber stop things also! I used some 5th wheel grease on mine and it stayed gone after that.

Mine was squeaking like crazy too. I applied a bit of grease to the pivot point and it's completely silent now.

I did the hinges too, but I think it was just the tailgate rubbing on those rubber peices that was makin the squeak. On my truck anyway.
