Yesterday it was snowed completely in Dallas Tx. My truck was totally covered with snow. Performs very good. NO issues.

I drove mine in over a foot of snow about 6 weeks ago. We have lots of hills and I had to use 4wd a few times, but it did great.

only problem I see is keeping all that torque in check...(but the traction control will handle that for you)

have fun, drive safe (I drove 300 miles home tonight because that storm is hitting us in the early AM and I really didnt feel like turning a 5 hour drive into 8.)

I don't want to be rude so I apologize if it comes off that way but, you should know you're winters and to be honest I've driven through Ontario in winter time, so you know exactly what your getting into. Just seems kinda like a dumb idea to buy a 2wd ecoboost if you're going to be worried.

Now in all honesty I've had mine for 2 yrs and really only put it in 4x4 to have fun or plow through my buddies acreage. Get a descent set of winter tires, as its mandatory in Ontario to do so, and go. The intercooler is perfectly fine but if it adds some peace of mind buy the insert for the bumper to keep some snow and ice off of it

I would never drive a 2wd in snow/ice on all seasons. Too dangerous. When I attempt it in my truck I go nowhere.

Winter tires aren't mandatory in Ontario, but they are in Quebec.

I've had a snow packed intercooler after doing some mild off-roading. Drove it home 2 hours and it never missed a beat.
